Step 6: Withdrawing From University

Hopefully everything has gone to plan and you have been formally accepted on the course at your chosen university – congratulations.

Now all that is left to do is to formally withdraw from your current university. You should be able to do this in several ways, either by telephone, email or by speaking with the relevant person. All of this information should be available on your universities website or should be able to be obtained fairly easy by speaking with tutors etc…

Everyone will have to go through slightly different steps to transfer university as it will vary from each university, course and even the time of year you are transferring.

We have several related articles here, that include lots more helpful information which may help with your specific scenario.

If you are still unsure on some of the processes or have a question not already answered on this website, then please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to advise.
